Public welcome to experience 'A Taste of Midtown' The Journeys in Journalism program has organized a free event called A Taste of Midtown, which follows the Through our Eyes: Midtown and Beyond gallery opening held at Studio@620. Its purpose is to allow the public to experience the local foods while getting a chance to look at the student photojournalists’ work.
Lakewood students join others at Ferguson protest St. Petersburg residents, including seven Lakewood students, came together at Williams Park on Aug. 30 to peacefully protest against the events leading to Michael Brown’s death. The organizers hope to spread awareness about improvements needing to be made nationally as well as locally.

The Late ACT registration deadline is Friday (Oct. 3).

Senior parent night is Monday (Oct. 14) at 6:30p.m. here on campus.

College bound juniors are encouraged to sign up for the PSAT. It will be administered Tuesday (Oct. 15). To sign up go to Ms. Brown in the CAT office.

Seniors with at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA who may be interested in spring Dual Enrollment courses should see their guidance counselors.
